Changed
- Topology: redrawn as a tree from the site's gateway, found from the ISP interfaces, the default route or STP, or chosen by hand. Ports at both ends of each link, speed on the line, lines can be bent by dragging, branches fold, unmanaged devices fold under the device they hang off, and links standing by under STP are shown apart. The map follows the light and dark theme, and on a phone the same tree shows as a list. Cards you arranged on the old map stay where you put them; Reset layout lays the site out as a tree. The MCP topology tool shows the site as a tree.
- Topology, Edit links: draw a link discovery cannot see (radios that do not pass LLDP, say), move the end of a link, or hide a wrong one. A link found by the scan is never changed: moving it hides it and puts one drawn by hand in its place, and removing that brings it back. A link drawn by hand and later found by the scan shows as one. Each keeps who drew it, when, and a note. Admin and operator only.
- Topology, names for unmanaged devices: a device found by discovery shows a name instead of its MAC, taken from a static DHCP lease comment, what it announces over LLDP/MNDP, its DHCP host name or the comment of its port. Admin and operator can give it a name and a type (camera, phone, printer, computer and others) for the whole site, and that name always wins. The DHCP Leases tab shows the same names.
Fixed
- Topology: Reset forgets dragged positions instead of bringing them back on the next visit.
- Webhooks: Device Rebooted is now sent for a reboot made by a command or template, and a device that crashes soon after a reboot started from the app is reported too.
