What's New
Now based on Nuvio 1.1.0-beta.7, including Nuvio's new Watch Party.
Live TV
- A row of channels in the info panel. Press OK while watching, then Down, to jump to a recently watched channel or one of your favorites. There's a TV Guide shortcut at the start, and Recent has a Clear button at the end. Recent never lists adult channels. Choose Recently Watched, Favorites or Off in Settings → Live TV → Watching.
- Channel surfing. Turn on Channel Surfing in Settings → Live TV → Watching to browse what's on other channels with Up / Down without switching. Press OK to watch the one you want, or Back to stay where you are. Holding Up / Down moves through channels faster.
- Turning a playlist off no longer reloads the whole guide. Only that playlist's listings are removed, so the rest of your guide stays ready.
- Pause Live TV now keeps 10 minutes by default (about 350 MB), which suits devices with little storage, like Fire TV Sticks. You can still choose up to 2 hours in Settings → Live TV → Watching.
Recordings
- Record a time you pick. Long-press any channel in the guide and choose Schedule a recording, or use New Recording on the Recordings screen. Pick the day, start time and length. Handy for PPV events and channels with no listings.
Fixes
- The guide and playlists now update on schedule even when the app stays open in the background for days. Before, they only updated when the app started, so the guide could run empty.
- Watching a show from the beginning while it's still on air no longer plays an earlier show on some providers.
- The top channel in the guide no longer stays half hidden behind the time bar after scrolling to the bottom of a group and back up.
- In grid layout, the top of the On Demand page now shows "On Demand - your playlist" for the title you're on, instead of a group name that didn't match.
- Pressing Down from Live TV in the side menu now goes to Settings, instead of jumping to the Home screen when On Demand or Recordings are hidden.
- Channel logos no longer have a white box added behind them.
