Nuvio + IPTV 1.1.0-beta.9.3
What's new
Nuvio Account Sync
- Your Live TV setup now follows your Nuvio account. Sign in on a new TV and your playlists, guides, favorites and settings come back by themselves, and changes stay in sync between your TVs
- Your saved setup is encrypted. Manage it in Settings → Live TV → Nuvio Account Sync: Sync Now, Restore Earlier Copy, Turn Off or Delete Saved Setup
- Import from Google Drive moves your Drive backup over in one step
Live TV
- Live TV opens on the last group you watched
- New groups you add to a playlist show up next to their neighbours, not at the bottom
- Guide channel numbers are right-aligned, and the number and group columns are only as wide as they need to be
- In the full-screen overlay, scrolling the groups only moves the highlight, and it opens on the playing channel's group
- Start in Full Screen works on every launch and starts smoothly
- Catch-up: skips load faster and land where you aimed
- Match frame rate now handles 59.94 Hz
- New look for the game card in the guide: flat team-colour halves with the score in the middle
Sports
- New League Networks page: each league's own channel in one place (NFL RedZone, NBA TV, MLB Network, Golf Channel, Tennis Channel and more), with the option to pick a different channel by hand
- Every Sports page has the same top bar, with the video window below it
- Fights are matched by both fighters' names, boxing cards stay on longer, scheduled fights are no longer hidden, and the same event under different names shows once
- My Sports Live & Upcoming includes the leagues on your top bar
Calendar
- Game cards look like the Sports hub's, five across in Month view
- Following tab with an info bar. Watch live, Record and Remind are in the hold-OK menu, for games too
- Times use each network's own time zone
- Each profile has its own followed and hidden shows
Menu & Features
- How the Menu Looks: a line above Live TV, and Shrink the Menu to Fit
- Pages are turned on or off per profile
- On Demand can be On, Off the menu only or Off
On Demand
- Play Straight from My Provider: Play skips the source list for titles opened from On Demand
- Your provider's copies are listed best quality first, with quality tags
Updates
- Updates are checked after downloading, so a damaged download is never installed
Fixed
- The app sometimes closing as it opened
- Slowdowns, high processor use, and jerky video followed by the app closing on slower boxes. Finding channels for games is much faster and no longer runs while you watch full screen
- Guide groups: no more jumpy or laggy scrolling, no tiles cut in half, and the groups line up with the channels
- Catch-up no longer gets stuck reloading after a skip on some providers
- Sports no longer shows "Finding channels…" on almost every visit
- Wrong sport labels on some games, and Live / Final showing late
- Hiding a playlist group no longer empties your own groups
- A crash in Sports tables
- The On Demand home screen, and skip controls on recordings that are still in progress
- Fixes for pinned scoreboards and the info bar
