A new look for Live TV
- Glass panels and matching menus throughout Live TV, Sports and Recordings, with a new background that follows your colour theme
- Full-width info bar above the guide
- Every pop-up, including the channel long-press menu, matches the app. The long-press menu is organised under headings
- New gear in the guide's top bar (Up, or hold Up from the top of the channel or group list) and in the channel long-press menu under Guide display
- Switch the poster, channel name & logo, tags, show title, start-end time, time left, episode number, category, playlist name, progress bar and description on or off, each on its own
- Guide layout: preview window, smaller top, 24-hour clock
- Guide darkness: Lightest, Standard or Darkest, for the info panel and the guide bars
- Guide & Sports Background: Match Theme (the default), Onyx, or any of the app icon colours (Original, Arctic Blue, Emerald, Rose Gold, Copper, Graphite)
- Play bar: Audio, Subtitles, Sleep timer, Stream info and Screen size open as pages in the bar's gear panel instead of pop-ups
- Play bar darkness (Lightest, Standard or Darkest) is in Play bar layout
Sports
- Games are found faster, and the channels found last time show instantly while the list updates
- New Preferred Channel Groups (Settings > Sports): channels in the groups you tick go to the top of every game's list
- Pick one channel for a whole competition, such as every Formula 1 round or PGA Tour event
- Multi-day events (a golf tournament, an F1 weekend) now find their channels while they're on
- A channel you pick for a network (for example Apple TV) now counts even when no channel has that name
- Before a game starts, the cards show each team's place, form and chances where the score will go
- My Teams: going back to a row puts you on the exact game you left it on
Live TV
- Watch from the beginning is now first in the full-screen options (hold OK) and right under Watch in the guide's long-press menu. On a channel that's being recorded, it plays the recording from its start
- Long descriptions scroll slowly so you can read them all, then start again from the top
- Launcher home screen rows for Google TV, Projectivy, Monet and similar: Live Now in Sports, Favorite Channels and Recently Watched Channels. Pick them in your launcher's own home screen settings
- Leaving the app now stops the channel after a few seconds, so it isn't using your provider's connection
Fixed
- Watching a channel while it records no longer freezes the picture, and "Starting the recording..." shows while the recording begins
- A recording that wouldn't stop now ends a few seconds after you press Stop, and what was recorded is kept
- Automatic guide updates are much faster on slower boxes
- Very large playlists (hundreds of thousands of channels) no longer run the TV out of memory while the guide loads
- Channels your guide file has nothing for now get their listings from your Xtream login, and a stored guide that's missing listings for many channels updates itself
- A Google Drive backup is never replaced by an empty one, and an empty backup no longer empties a TV
- Wide show pictures are shown whole in the poster box instead of a cut-out of the middle
- Old Pause and Rewind Anytime buffers left behind by a crash or power-off are cleaned up sooner
