This package does not use Docker. If you are currently running Homebridge in Docker, create a backup and remove the container before installing this package.
Breaking Changes
⚠️ Version v3.x.x contains breaking changes for users upgrading from v2.x.x or earlier. Plugins will require re-installation. You should create a backup before upgrading.

Installation
This package will deploy Homebridge and the Homebridge UI natively on your Synology NAS. It will create a new shared named homebridge
to store the Homebridge configuration and user data.
Dependencies
This package will leverage the Synology supplied NodeJS v18 package.
Add the Homebridge Synology Package Source:
- Open Package Center in DSM and select the
Settings
option. - Select the
Package Sources
tab. - Click
Add
- In the
Name
section enterHomebridge
- In the
Location
section enterhttps://synology.homebridge.io
- Click
OK
Install Homebridge:
- Go back to Package Center and search for
Homebridge
- Click on the
Homebridge
package then selectInstall
- Click
Agree
when warned about using a package from an unknown publisher. - Click
Done
to confirm installation.
Please note low power device make take 10-15 minutes to install the package.
The Homebridge UI app starts on port 8581
. The default username is admin with password admin.
If you have the Synology Firewall enabled, make a rule to allow access to port 8581 and the port Homebridge was assigned too.
