π₯ &π±Both Platforms
- Add "Location History" to Location Settings. This includes a visual look at all location updates: your location and your zones are overlaid on the map. This visualization should improve most location-based bug reporting. It also includes a share button that contains detailed information.
- Adds WebSocket API connectivity. This is the same style of connection that the frontend uses to keep everything live-updating, and you can see below the first couple uses of it.
- Fix a case where, depending on the angle of entering and accuracy (when e.g. GPS was active for navigation or workouts), zones smaller than 100m in radius would not be correctly entered by lat/long.
- Fix releases earlier than iOS 13.4 not working well with zones smaller than 100m in radius.
π₯ Mac-specific
This is a beta for macOS. You can also install from the Mac App Store or disable beta updates in Preferences to stay on stable releases. Like previous releases, this requires macOS Catalina (10.15) or later.
- Adds a "Menu Bar Title" setting option which instantly updates based on the content of the template. This places a title next to the Home Assistant icon. See #1529 for a simple example.
π± iOS-specific
- Adds live-updating of templates' previews when editing Watch Complications.
- Fix iPad crash when trying to share push ID.
- Fix crash when editing or performing Siri Shortcuts.
