This is an alpha release of the Home Assistant app for macOS. New in this build (check out the old ones for more):
- Adds an "Active" sensor. This binary sensor will report
onwhen…
- Not sleeping.
- Not idle. The default is 5 minutes; this can be changed in the Sensors Settings.
- Not playing a screensaver.
- The screen is not off.
- The machine is not locked.
- The user is the active one signed in. For example, not Fast User Switched away.
This one could use some testing!
- Adds "Check for updates…" to Application menu
- Removes the "App Configuration" sidebar entry in favor of the Application menu item
- Uses Mac-specific icons for Last Update Trigger Sensor
- Fixes a small launch time delay checking for NFC support, which doesn't exist on Mac!
- Fixes Mac device model and operating system values in the Devices page
- Fixes device name in events when overridden
This release requires macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or newer. Please report any issues you run into in Discord in #ios.
