So, looks like we're approaching something stable!
Changes to Hallway pizza:
- Installer now has three options:
- barebones - minimal system installation, to customize later
- gameonly - This only installs Gamescope and Steam client
- deckperience - Full SteamOS 3 experience with gamescope session and KDE Plasma
-
Installs Arch Linux kernel by default as secondary option, since most of devices do not have their drivers in SD's kernel (Aya Neo Next/Onexplayer)
-
Some preparations for the actual updater service (TBD)
Issues (gamescope):
- Reboot/Shutdown doesn't work - Known issue/related to systemd stuff as now
- UI can appear without proper scaling, and it might require good amount of restarts to get it proper, requires disabling OpenGL compositor inside steam developer settings:
- systemd logs "Jupiter controller update service" failed to start, this is not an issue/bug. This is just how it goes, because jupiter-hwsupport package is required to run Deck session without issues.
