TF2-Trifecta 3.0 has been released!

This version introduces a new way of how cosmetics/weapons are handled. All ports before this version are no longer supported, but with good cause.

Now, all cosmetic/weapons ports will be placed under one folder, your TF2 Items path. It is within this folder that you will place the new ports with better materials and more accurate names. After adding the ports, you are required to scan your TF2 Items path to build a list of spawnable objects for Wardrobe. The scanning process will take some time, so open the console if you wish to view the progress.

New cosmetic/weapons ports features:

  • Separate EEVEE and Cycles passes for materials, to match the color of mercenaries
    • Gone are the days of needing to click "Use Lightwarps" for materials!
  • More accurate materials
  • More accurate names
    • No longer will you have to search for alternative names for a cosmetic. EVERYTHING has its correct name now!
  • Better paints
    • Paints are less broken and now require less user input!

Wardrobe

  • Search Panel
    • Rearranged the search results panel
    • Searching is now faster
    • Search results will now show fully accurate names w/ style name
    • Removed "Search for Weapons"
  • Paint/Material Settings panel
    • Removed the Lightwarp switch (No longer required!)
    • Removed operators to fix materials with broken paint regions (No longer required!)
    • Added a color dial to paint cosmetics
    • Added sliders to adjust paint region
  • Loading process
    • Increased efficiency (less breakage)
    • Hold SHIFT to load the cosmetic without Bonemerge

Merc Deployer

  • Spawning is more efficient and consistent (less breakage)
  • Introduced code to execute any script attached to the rig
  • Introduced code to allow developers to manage newly spawned mercs with scripts
    • This allows support for the new Ragdoll Rigs

Bonemerge

  • New multi-layered Bonemerge system
    • Allows users to switch between different attachments in the order in which they were attached by adjusting influence
  • Added Hierarchal Influence button
    • Goes down the bone tree and activates influence

Updater

  • Now works on a queue system (less breakage)
  • Now handles invalid download types
  • Increased refresh rate of the updater

Again, please make note that all of the old cosmetics/weapons ports are no longer supported! you can find the new ports HERE. Simply download them all, and extract them into one folder. Add this folder to your preferences, then scan the folder to build a list of spawnable items.

This scanning process is automatic if downloading the items through the Scene Properties.
