What’s new
- Selection dialogs for both directions:
- Steam → Playnite: pick which shortcuts to import.
- Playnite → Steam: pick which Playnite games to create/update in Steam.
- Optional automatic write‑backs from Playnite to Steam (including grid artwork) when you edit games.
- “Launch via Steam” option ensures games use steam://rungameid when possible.
- Stability and polish improvements.
Install
- Download the “SteamShortcutsImporter-*.pext” asset from this release.
- In Playnite: Add‑ons → Install from file… → select the .pext file.
Quick start
- Add‑ons → Extensions → Steam Shortcuts → set your Steam folder (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam).
- Main menu → Steam Shortcuts:
- “Sync Steam → Playnite…” to import.
- “Sync Playnite → Steam…” to export/update.
