Long films now play smoothly deep into the timeline, because the preview only does work for what is on screen. Cloud downloads resume after a dropped connection, and check, inspect and renders get going faster.
Fixes
- Core: The preview keeps playing in time when its tab is hidden (b168d0b41, #5872).
- CLI: A cloud render download that loses its connection picks up where it stopped (cea0bad79, #5873).
Performance
- Core: Long films keep their frame rate deep into the timeline: playback and jumps do only the work for what is on screen (959dd3e58, #5754).
- CLI: Check and inspect finish faster: they skip paint waits and screenshots nothing reads (843494578, #5868).
- Producer: Renders embed a project's local fonts as they are, so setup is faster (2b57809d7, #5865).
