Summary

This release adds support for several new USB LCD panels, including Jonsbo DS916/DS339, Lian Li, VMAX 4.6", and Jungle Leopard/Hongtai displays, along with expanded Thermalright Trofeo Vision and ChiZhu panel coverage. Key usability improvements include a display assignment dropdown for profiles, configurable URL image refresh, and major canvas editing tools. Several stability fixes address panel wedging, startup flickering, and plugin update races.

✨ New Features

  • Jonsbo Display Support — Adds Jonsbo DS916 (9.16") and DS339 panel support with full USB protocol implementation.
  • Lian Li Displays — New Lian Li section supporting the Universal Screen 8.8" and 9.2", HydroShift II LCD and HydroShift II OLED Curve.
  • VMAX 4.6" Display — Adds direct USB support for the VMAX 4.6-inch display, capped at 30 FPS.
  • Jungle Leopard / Hongtai Display — Adds support for Hongtai-based cooler LCD displays (e.g. JL Chill Arc 360, 480x960 and 1920x462 strip).
  • Thermalright Trofeo Vision 11.3" — Adds support for the 11.3" Trofeo Vision panel (1920x400), correctly distinguished from the 9.16" at discovery time.
  • Elite Vision 360 ARGB Black (SPISCRM-V2) — Adds support for Thermalright's SPISCRM-V2 ChiZhu panels.
  • Wonder Vision 360 v2 — Adds support for the SSCRM-V3 SUB=0x20 firmware variant of the Wonder Vision 360.
  • Display Assignment Dropdown — Profiles can now be assigned to a monitor directly from the Profiles settings page.
  • URL Image Refresh Interval — URL-sourced images can now be set to refresh automatically on a configurable interval.
  • Canvas Multi-Edit Tools — Adds multi-select duplicate, reorder, delete, drag-to-group, shift+drag axis lock, and alignment guides to the canvas editor.
  • Weather Unit Selection — Weather data sources now support toggling between Metric and Imperial units.
  • User Guide — A user guide is now available from a new tile on the Home page.
  • OBS Monitor in the plugin browser — cueebb's OBS Monitor plugin is now listed in the in-app plugin browser.

🚀 Improvements

  • Trofeo Vision 9.16" v2 Default Resolution — The v2 firmware batch now renders at 1920x480 by default, matching v1, with Flicker Fix as an opt-in crop.
  • MS9132 EDID-Driven Resolution — Jonsbo DS339 panels are now driven at the resolution their EDID reports, preventing sheared or washed-out images on non-standard units.
  • Improved ChiZhu Panel Detection — Detection now uses a three-pass strategy, correctly routing Stream Vision, Wonder Vision, and SPISCRM-V2 panels without misidentification.
  • VMAX Discovery Cleanup — VMAX discovery now ignores stale registry entries and only surfaces currently connected devices.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Jonsbo DS339 Startup Flickering — Fixes endless on/off flickering on some DS339 units caused by bulk write timeouts during startup.
  • Trofeo Vision Panel Wedging — Caps HID Trofeo JPEG frames at 400 KB to prevent firmware crashes and black-screen wedging at high brightness.
  • Profile Window Dragging — Fixes profile windows becoming unresponsive to drag under heavy render load.
  • Plugin Update Stalls — Fixes a race where a plugin modifying a data table mid-cycle could leave sensors permanently stale.
  • Plugin Action Invocation — Fixes plugin actions being invoked through a stale host connection.

⚠️ Known Issues

  • MS9132 panels listed twice — Panels that use the MacroSilicon 345F:9132 bridge (Jonsbo DS339, VMAX 4.6") appear in both the Jonsbo and VMAX sections after Discover. Enable the device only in the section that matches your panel.

🔧 Internal

  • SPISCRM-V2 Frame Fixes — Corrected identifier parsing, frame-type byte, and RGB565 conversion for ChiZhu SPISCRM-V2 panels.
  • Trofeo Bulk Discovery Probe — Added a startup probe to distinguish 9.16" v1, v2, and 11.3" panels sharing the same VID/PID.
