[v1.2.3] - 2026-08-05
Why Upgrade
- Restores Markdown document previews for saved files after the preview-navigation hardening.
- Keeps Replace All reversible without discarding the preceding edit.
- Keeps HTML editing responsive for documents around 5 MB.
- Uses the available iPhone and iPad landscape width more effectively and keeps toolbar presets aligned.
- Adds release performance-budget checks to catch regressions before shipping.
Highlights
- Adds repeatable performance-profile capture and baseline validation to release preparation.
- Adds consequential-change previews for Replace All, AI replacements, project-wide replacements, editor clearing, and Git commits.
- Keeps the complete mobile toolbar action set reachable through presets and overflow actions.
Fixes
- Allows the preview WebView to load its saved-document base directory while keeping navigation restricted to local preview content.
- Routes macOS Replace All through AppKit's undo-aware text-view replacement path.
- Raises the responsive HTML syntax-highlighting budget to 8 million UTF-16 code units and avoids repeating fallback updates for large documents.
- Extends iPhone and iPad landscape toolbar/content layout to the available screen width and preserves the requested iPad toolbar inset.
- Keeps Replace All and related confirmation dialogs compatible with the public Xcode release compiler.
Issue status
- Fixed and closed: consequential-change previews (#185), Replace All undo (#182), and large HTML responsiveness (#188).
- Addressed but not fully confirmed: italic-comment alternation (#181) remains font- and platform-sensitive and should not be considered conclusively resolved without reporter confirmation.
