Lumen Emu 0.1.7, build 10 updates the GitHub APK with a quick folder browser, direct access to your existing game library, PS4 audio fixes and the latest cumulative core changes.
Library and interface
- Choose your game folder quickly and use its files in place after granting Android’s all-files access. No private copy is required for the GitHub APK.
- Preserve the selected folder from earlier direct-access GitHub releases, together with existing settings and saves. The one-time folder reset used by the Play migration is skipped on GitHub.
- English dashboard and folder-selection flow, with an expanded compatibility catalog.
- Updated device-specific compatibility reports in the README, including developer-reported West of Dead version 01.00 on realme GT 8 Pro. Reports remain tied to their stated device and tested build.
Audio and core
- Improve NGS2 streamed PCM audio, buffer completion callbacks and voice-state queries. The corrected path restored audible Brotato audio in the documented Android development test.
- Integrate six selected KytyPS5 improvements to shader compilation, shader identity and memory-range handling while preserving Lumen’s existing defaults.
- Include the latest controller input delivery, shader sampler comparison and FEX signal-state fixes.
- Retain bundled Mojo/Bionic, Turnip Banners and experimental PanVK with the existing hardware-based driver selection.
Download and verification
Download lumenemu-0.1.7-spike-fexlab-v10-github.apk below. Requires Android 13+ and ARM64; target API 36. The package and signing certificate match the previous public GitHub APKs, with a higher version code.
The signed Release APK passed native-runtime, signature, permission and 16 KiB alignment checks. 84 JVM tests passed, with 3 existing skips; lintVital passed. Full lint still reports 54 pre-existing errors. Instrumentation tests compiled but were not run on a device for this package, and the exact final APK has not received a new gameplay or upgrade trial. No new performance result is claimed.
The APK is non-debuggable and contains no bundled debugger, diagnostic wrapper or Vulkan validation layer. Optional diagnostic code remains disabled by default; ordinary error logging and the SUCCI demo remain available.
The Google Play build has a separate workflow that copies or moves selected games into private app storage. This GitHub release distributes the direct-access APK; the Play AAB is prepared separately.
