A pre-release for field validation. HACS offers this only to users who have enabled beta versions for this repository. It is not a public release, and the changes below still ship to everyone in the next monthly bundle as 3.44.0.

New option: House notification cooldown (#721, #725). The camera notification cooldown works one camera at a time, so one event seen by several cameras (people walking past the house) still made every camera's first notification sound, a second or two apart. Set House notification cooldown (
video_analyzer_house_notification_cooldown_s, Global Options, just below the camera cooldown, 0 = off, up to 60 seconds). When a camera notification sounds, notifications from the other cameras within that many seconds still post their own card, with their own description and image, but quietly.- With face recognition on, the first Unknown Person in that window still sounds, once, whichever camera sees it.
- A camera made quiet this way stays quiet for its own camera cooldown (or the house cooldown, if longer), counted from the sound that covered it.
- Needs a single
notify.mobile_app_*service. Verified on iOS only: on Android a quiet card may still sound. - It is a time window only, so two unrelated events on different cameras within it sound once. Keep it to a few seconds.
See House notification cooldown for the details and limits. With debug logging on, each camera push logs
notification cooldown: action=... unknown_face=... window=... house_window=... hushed=.... -
Sentinel no longer warns "Audit store at capacity" on every finding, and no longer rewrites the whole audit store on each one (#724). Findings are now written within 15 seconds of the first unsaved one, so a burst shares one write. Records of actions Sentinel took, and your responses to alerts, are still written immediately.
Also in this pre-release (from 3.44.0-beta.1 and beta.2)
- History questions always bind the history tool (#715), history times are read as local time (#719), and history only reads devices exposed to Assist (#716, a behavior change: expose a sensor under Settings → Voice assistants → Expose to ask about its history).
- The Sentinel proposals card follows your Home Assistant profile language (#697, #714, @hruba202).
- Low-battery rules approved from discovery get a readable push subtitle (#696, @hruba202).
