Fixed
- The integration loads again on Home Assistant 2026.9. HA 2026.9 swapped its schema library from voluptuous to probatio and dropped voluptuous-openapi from core's requirements, so setup died with
No module named 'voluptuous_openapi'before the integration loaded at all. The OpenAPI tool-schema converter is now taken from Home Assistant's ownllmhelper — the exact pair the running core was built against, on 2026.8 and 2026.9 alike — with the previous library detection kept as a fallback (#599). - Gemini on HA 2026.9 no longer floods the log. Probatio marks every closed tool schema with
additionalProperties: false, which the Gemini client library warns about once per tool on every conversation turn. The key is stripped for Gemini only — it carries no meaning for Gemini's schema format, while other providers (OpenAI strict mode included) keep it. - A tool serializer built against the wrong schema library is now recognized. Upgrading core does not uninstall the old converter library, and a third-party LLM API's serializer built against it could hand back a "cannot render this" marker that was mistaken for a real schema. The markers of both libraries are accepted wherever either is installed.
