Godot 3.5 RC 8 is a release candidate for the 3.5 feature release. Release candidates focus on finalizing the release and fixing remaining critical bugs.

To make a custom build which would also be recognized as rc8, you should define GODOT_VERSION_STATUS=rc8 in your build environment prior to compiling.
