Godot 3.4.4 RC 1 is a release candidate for the 3.4.4 maintenance release. Release candidates focus on finalizing the release and fixing remaining critical bugs.

To make a custom build which would also be recognized as rc1, you should define GODOT_VERSION_STATUS=rc1 in your build environment prior to compiling.
