Pocket2FA 0.10.0 – Release Notes
- Optional PIN lock (#17): You can now protect the app with a 4–8 digit PIN, either instead of or alongside biometrics. When both are enabled, either factor unlocks the app. The PIN is stored only as a salted, slow hash in secure storage, and it can be changed or disabled from Settings.
- Shared accounts are read-only and clearly marked (#18): Accounts shared with you by another 2FAuth user now show a shared indicator and can no longer be edited or deleted from the app. Their codes are fetched from the server with the correct period and next code instead of being generated locally, which produced incorrect TOTPs.
- Secure-storage failures recover instead of dead-ending (#20): On Linux, a keyring/storage read failure used to be reported as "Biometric authentication failed" with a Retry button that could never succeed. The app now shows the real storage error, and Retry re-runs the storage path.
- Updated toolchain: Flutter 3.47.7, refreshed dependencies, and Gradle/Android Gradle Plugin compatibility updates.
- Release metadata: Fastlane changelog and updated store description for the new features.
