We are proud to announce the official release of GLPI 12, the latest major version of our open-source software. After months of development and community testing, GLPI 12 is now stable and ready for production.
What’s new ?
While the full list of changes can be found in the detailed changelog, here are some of the most important highlights:
- 📖 Knowledge base - full rewrite: An overhaul for pretty dated feature in GLPI, the whole frontend of the integrated knowledge system has been rewritten from scratch to give you a modern experience.
- 🛡️ Session Management: GLPI records every session opened on the instance. As an administrator you can now see who is currently signed in and revoke any session.
- 🔓 Step-Up Authentication: Some administrative actions now ask you to prove it is still you.
- ⏱️ Group-managed OLAs: They are now mutliple and are tied to a group.
- 🧑🦯 Accessibility: GLPI makes a first pass on accessibility, following RGAA and RAWeb criteria. The work will continue over the coming releases.
