This release adds original-language selection for AI Search, improves Jellyfin library scanning, and fixes AI recommendation counts and viewing-history isolation.
🌐 Original Language in AI Search
- Added an Original language selector under Search options
- Choose From prompt, Any language, or a specific language for movies and TV shows
- A specific selection overrides the language requested in the prompt; Any language removes the prompt's language restriction
- The selection is remembered per account in the current browser
- AI Search no longer applies the legacy global job language filter
- This setting filters a title's original language; displayed text and dubbed audio are controlled separately
🛡️ AI Search History Privacy
- Fixed AI Search reading every Jellyfin user's watch history when no user IDs were provided
- By default, searches and history-based search starters now use only the current user's verified linked media account
- If no verified account is linked, searches still work without viewing history
- Administrators can explicitly select media-server users through the AI Search API; an empty selection uses their own verified link
Addresses #553.
🤖 AI Recommendation Counts
- Fixed AI recommendation jobs treating Similar titles per title as the total number of recommendations
- The setting now applies as a maximum for each unique watched title
- Duplicate recommendations and results assigned to an unknown source title are discarded
- The final count can be lower after filtering, and large requests may exceed an AI provider's output or context limits
Addresses #554.
📚 Jellyfin Library Improvements
- Jellyfin library scans now include individual movies inside collections when checking which titles are already owned
- Matching those movies requires TMDb provider IDs in Jellyfin
- Viewing history is fetched across libraries concurrently, with up to five library requests at a time
Addresses #555.
🧰 Maintenance & Testing
- Expanded automated coverage for AI Search language selection, viewing-history permissions, recommendation counts, and Jellyfin library and history handling
- Added a standard Jellyfin job test without Simkl integration
