Harness Remote v3.7.0

Release

Stable release of Harness Remote 3.7.0: the Android APK below, plus unsigned Windows, macOS and Linux desktop builds attached by the desktop workflow.

Harness Remote 3.7.0 introduces machine-local plugins. The new Plugin Center gives integrations a home for dashboards, settings, status and actions on each machine. The first plugin is Token Harness, an open-source project with a promising approach to making five-hour and seven-day Claude Code and Codex allowances go further.

Plugins: the headline feature

Open Settings → Plugins to choose a machine, inspect its plugins, see diagnostics and manage supported actions. Plugins run on that machine and provide validated data for Harness Remote to render. The system supports built-in and user-installed Node or Python plugins, with persisted settings and explicit enable/disable controls. User plugins do not run until enabled. See the plugin guide to build one. #617

Token Harness is the first plugin. Harness Remote detects an existing installation or can install a managed copy. Its dashboard shows the current allowance reported by Claude Code and Codex, including five-hour and weekly windows, alongside Token Harness's locally recorded token savings. The quota chip follows the coding agent in the Session you have open. Claude Code and Codex model-routing switches are available directly in the plugin settings; Open Token Harness launches its own dashboard for RTK, HarnessTrim and other optimization controls. An externally installed copy is never updated or removed by Harness Remote. #617, #625

Token savings and subscription allowance are different measurements. The plugin reports each separately; a specific increase in five-hour or seven-day quota is not guaranteed.

Other improvements

  • OpenCode 2 conversations: a final reply from a turn started on another device now reaches the open Session, and large histories page without exceeding the desktop transport limit. #616
  • Phone pairing: QR codes work on older Android WebViews that parse custom URL schemes differently. Pairing errors also describe what the phone actually observed, and a missing QR renderer gets a useful explanation. #618, #621, #624
  • Desktop reliability: embedded daemon credentials persist across restarts. #619

Thank you, contributors

Thank you to @gervaso-assistant for the plugin system and Token Harness integration, plus the OpenCode 2 synchronization and history fixes. #617, #616

Thank you to @iwestlin for fixing QR pairing on older Android WebViews. #618

Verification

The release candidate updates the README and aligns the root, web and web lockfile versions to 3.7.0. PR checks passed: web type-check and regressions, bridge tests on Windows and macOS, desktop tests on Windows, macOS and Linux, Chromium product smoke, and the debug APK build.

Notes

  • Built from ddd641b4507b7159056a3baefb26934fd82e29f7
