OpenCode Remote is now Harness Remote. The app is no longer tied to a single backend: you pick your coding-agent harness in Settings, and each one keeps its own saved connection.
| Harness | Status | How it connects |
|---|---|---|
| OpenCode | supported | directly to the OpenCode HTTP server |
| Oh My Pi (OMP) | new | through the local bridge included in this repository |
| PI | planned | — |
Before you install
This release changes the Android application id from ai.opencode.remote.web to ai.harness.remote. Android therefore treats it as a different app:
- it installs alongside OpenCode Remote instead of updating it;
- your server settings do not carry over, so configure the connection once more;
- uninstall the old app when you no longer need it.
Oh My Pi support
OMP speaks ACP over stdio rather than HTTP, so the app talks to it through a small bridge that runs on the same computer as OMP and translates ACP to the app's HTTP/SSE API. It never reads or writes OMP's internal databases. See Oh My Pi Bridge Setup.
Working over the bridge: session list and creation, live busy/idle status, streamed assistant output, todo/plan updates, model selection, and stop. Agent selection, session rename/delete, server slash commands and VCS/diff are not available, because OMP's ACP surface does not expose them.
--root bounds what the bridge exposes — which directories the app may browse and where a session may run. It is not a sandbox for the agent: OMP approves its own tool calls and runs with your full user privileges. Point the bridge only at machines where you would already let OMP work unattended.
Fixed
- The app could get stuck on a permanent black screen. Typing a host such as
http://192.168.1.64passes throughhttp:andhttp://, which cannot be turned into a URL. The failure happened while rendering, and the half-typed host had already been saved, so every later launch reproduced it and only clearing app data helped. Incomplete addresses are no longer saved, and any remaining startup failure now shows a screen that can reset the saved settings. - The prompt you had just sent disappeared the first time an OMP session was reopened.
- Every OMP session was listed as "Mobile session". Titles now come from the session title, otherwise the first prompt.
- OMP session lists ignored directories written with forward slashes on Windows.
- Agent-initiated ACP requests were dropped instead of answered, which could stall a prompt until it timed out.
- The Settings address field now explains what it accepts: a bare computer name usually cannot be resolved from a phone, and
http://is only needed ashttps://for a TLS server.
Also in this release
- settings save automatically; the separate Save button is gone
- the conversation no longer jumps to the bottom during background refreshes

Thanks to @gervaso-assistant for the OMP bridge and the rename groundwork.
