Longer tasks, and the bubble now shows when your phone is free.
Chat options
- A new tune icon in a chat's top bar opens the chat's options.
- Keep the screen on while it works: during that chat's run the screen stays awake, so long tasks don't stop when the screen would time out. It's released on Stop, pause, the run ending or when you lock the phone. When the run ends you get one notification: finished, stopped or failed.
- Allowed without asking: pick apps where routine steps (send-only buttons, plain taps) go ahead without an approval card for that run. Paying, buying, deleting, passwords and codes, installs, settings, and shopping or money apps always keep their cards. Each step approved this way is logged in the chat, and the list is cleared when the run ends.
Can I use my phone?
- While an agent is using the screen, the bubble keeps its "Using your phone" look with Stop.
- While it only works in the background (the background browser, Linux tools, thinking), the ring is calmer and the pill says "In the background · you can use your phone".
Background browser
- A live thumbnail of the page shows under the bubble while an agent browses, including your own MCP sessions. Tap it to open the browser full screen; swipe it sideways to hide it, and tap the pill to bring it back.
Updating
Buddy will tell you about this update (or ask any agent "update yourself"). Otherwise install buddy.apk below over your current Buddy; your chats, settings and sign-ins are kept.
