umbrelOS 2.1 Beta 1 opens your documents right in Files, brings Umbrel apps to Android and Windows, and a lot more.

Documents in Files: Open PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoint decks, and spreadsheets in a new viewer, and make quick edits right where they are. Fill in, annotate, and sign PDFs, fix text, and edit cells and formulas.
Umbrel for Android and Windows: The new Umbrel app for Android backs up your photos and videos automatically, and the new Umbrel app for Windows adds your Umbrel as a drive in File Explorer. With the apps for iPhone and Mac, there's now an Umbrel app for every device you own.
New in Machines: Machines can now join your home network directly, so apps like Home Assistant OS can find your smart home devices. You can now also give a machine access to the USB devices plugged into your Umbrel, like Zigbee adapters, drives, and Coral accelerators, and copy and paste between a machine and your computer. There's also a new touch console for using Machines from your phone or tablet.
Storage Manager and FailSafe support for drives behind SAS HBA cards.
Updated Linux kernel and NVIDIA driver with support for newer hardware, including RTX 50-series GPUs.
Several performance improvements, refinements, and bug fixes.
