Changed

• Vercel AI Gateway spend is shown on its own row and left out of totals by default, because its daily aggregates cannot be matched against the local tools that were pointed at it. If you use the gateway, your headline totals will go down. codeburn gateway-totals include folds it back in.
• Much less energy at rest: only the headline refreshes live, act report moves to 10 minutes, yield to 5, and the optimize scan runs once a day with its time shown. The window stops polling while hidden, both apps retire the resident parser after 15 idle minutes, and a poll re-checks only what the watcher saw change. Measured for an open window: 65 to 70 percent less CPU while a session is being written, 84 to 91 percent less when idle, and steady memory after a cold start from 2,198 MB to 700 MB.
• A measured design pass on the desktop app: one type ladder, one header on all eleven screens, light theme by default with zero contrast failures, and a motion layer that is off under reduced motion.

Fixed

• Warp, OpenClaw and Pi keep the cost their own tool recorded instead of being re-priced from tokens on every read.
• Retry tax is the cost of the edit turns that needed a retry, so it can no longer exceed what you spent. No money total moves.
• Model tables add up to the headline above them, every period headline comes from one aggregation, and a partial first paint no longer replaces finished numbers.
• OpenCode 2.x sessions, archived sessions and un-migrated legacy sessions are all counted again.
• DeepSeek Harness sessions of every generation are discovered, and a skipped one reaches codeburn doctor.
• codeburn menubar replaces the copy you already have instead of adding a second one, and only one menu bar app ever runs.
• Changing the menu bar language is applied in place, so the "access data from other apps" prompt does not come back every time.
• codeburn export -f json -o <dir>/ writes the file inside the folder, and the toast names the path that was actually written.
• A Full Disk Access denial on Warp no longer freezes codeburn status or the resident parser.
• The interactive dashboard no longer runs out of heap after a few days, and no longer crashes on a very large session history.
• A Claude Team seat is labelled Team Premium, not Max 5x.
