This update prevents duplicate elements being placed in %PATH% when the Web PVR Manager is invoked. This may help prevent problems launching perl or external programs in rare cases when %PATH% is already quite large, e.g., because of other software packages that did not properly update %PATH% on install or uninstall. There is no guarantee this will work. If %PATH% is simply too large to accommodate the runtime changes required for get_iplayer to run, you will still need to clean obsolete entries from your PATH environment variable settings. Few users should be affected by this issue, but this update is recommended.
The major and minor version numbers remain at 2.95, which means that get_iplayer itself has not changed. Only the Windows packaging has been updated.
