What's New
- Slides: keyboard shortcuts, mouse modifiers, context menus and insert sizes now match PowerPoint; new Edit Points, Section/Summary Zoom, Save as Picture, media animations in the show; PDF export writes vector pages with a searchable text layer.
- Docs: long documents open in phases and stay editable while loading, typing and page switching several times faster; separate East Asian and Latin fonts (@GoodScholar); the AI can see pictures in the document (@psvanzyl) and edit footnotes in place; outline picks up style-numbered headings (@smkzw).
- Sheets: status bar statistics on streamed workbooks; Format Cells dialog fits long labels.
- Markdown: faithful re-serialization of tables, fences and lists; paginated PNG export (@GoodScholar).
- PDF: text editing no longer covers the page; permanent area redaction (@GoodScholar).
- App: detach a tab into its own window; Ctrl+wheel zooms in steps; Windows Explorer New menu offers Office documents (@GoodScholar); background update prompts are back.
- Hardening: dozens of input validation and bounds fixes across IPC, file parsers and AI streams (@aniruddhaadak80).
