GenOffice v0.10.1038 stable desktop installers.
What's New
- Search: the home screen searches the names, folders and full text of your Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, Markdown and HTML files from a local index, CJK included; optionally the top hits are reranked by TypeSafe Jev. Parallel joins Serper and Tavily as a web-search provider, with a keyless free tier (@RowanAldean).
- Slides: charts closer to PowerPoint — pie of pie, logarithmic and date axes, per-point data labels, axis titles, legend order, chart fonts; 3D bevel lighting; Korean wraps by word and closing punctuation hangs; tight text boxes stay draggable; curved arrows fit their box; Custom Show dialog fixes (@aniruddhaadak80).
- Docs: large documents open and type faster; EMF/EMF+ pictures render with correct text placement, pen widths and pattern brushes; the cursor lands in the document when it opens; saving a new document into a Home folder no longer fails on the second save.
- App: add any folder to the Home tree as an extra root; custom OpenAI-compatible endpoints list their models (@3DAV-Works); AI settings keep Test connection and Save in view; remote media downloads stop at the size cap while streaming (reported by @tokg-venv).
- Sheets: cross-sheet references imported unquoted are repaired (@3DAV-Works); print titles are clamped to a sane range.
- Hardening: another round of input validation and bounds fixes across parsers, IPC and AI paths (@aniruddhaadak80).
Thanks to @aniruddhaadak80, @3DAV-Works and @RowanAldean for the contributions, and to @tokg-venv for the reports.
