This release adds multiple accounts per integration, custom agent executable selection, and more control over the workbench. It also makes ACP conversations, task archiving, and remote connections more reliable.
Highlights
- Connect multiple accounts for each integration, choose a default, and select which account each project uses. Account choices carry through project creation, issue browsing, and pull request workflows.
- Choose an agent executable by path or command name in settings, validate it before saving, and use that selection when launching agents. Custom wrapper scripts are supported, including PowerShell wrappers on Windows.
- Hide the Emdash menu bar or system tray icon from Interface settings.
- Newly opened file diffs scroll directly to the first change, while previously viewed diffs retain their saved position.
- Codex adds a curl installation option on macOS and Linux, and MCP startup failures appear in the chat composer's server list with error details.
Fixes
- ACP transcripts keep pending prompts and live responses visible as turns finish and history loads. Scroll position and session settings survive history refreshes, and background agent events update the correct turn.
- Failed session restores preserve saved conversations and show recoverable errors. Agent sign-in remains accessible, and terminal startup failures no longer disrupt the ACP worker.
- Each conversation retains its prompt draft, text selection, undo history, and composer scroll position when switching tabs. Empty chats keep the composer centered during startup.
- Archiving runs teardown scripts when possible and remains available when a remote host is offline. Restoring archived tasks works across repeated archive and restore cycles, and cleanup state stays consistent across restarts.
- Workspace lookup uses current saved state, avoiding stale “workspace not found” errors. Conversation lists recover after missed updates, and closing a conversation tab clears its attention indicator.
- Pull request details refresh reliably after runtime recovery, and CI results stay tied to the current commit. Staged and unstaged file lists remain stable during background Git updates.
- SSH-config connections allow authentication and private key overrides. Testing and saving use the same credentials, and saved passwords and passphrases are reused only for the matching connection or key.
- Routine remote connection checks no longer cause status flicker or interrupt terminal input. Git credentials also remain available to child processes, including editor extensions.
- Muse Code and Antigravity report working and completion status through native hooks. Codex approval settings parse correctly on Windows, and Devin handles compound shell commands correctly.
- macOS Option-arrow shortcuts navigate shell words correctly, and tmux startup handles terminal capability queries more reliably.
- Localhost links offer the usual choice to open in Emdash or an external browser. Pane focus preserves scroll position, sidebar task reordering stays accurate after auto-scroll, and panels remain clickable over the title bar.
- Project opening failures show actionable errors, including invalid remote default branches. Crash recovery also offers an explicit option to reset saved UI state and reload.
