github generalaction/emdash v1.2.4

This release makes ACP conversations easier to follow and more reliable to use, especially across remote reconnections. It also adds Muse Code, project renaming, and several agent and provider improvements.

Highlights

  • Agent activity is easier to scan: related thinking blocks are grouped, consecutive tool calls collapse into “Ran N commands,” and command rows use compact, descriptive headings.
  • Rename projects directly from the project header or sidebar menu.
  • Muse Code is now available as a coding agent, and CodeBuddy Code adds lifecycle hooks for accurate status, session, error, and permission notifications.
  • Codex adds GPT-6 Astra to its model options, and OpenCode can connect to OrcaRouter as a named OpenAI-compatible provider.
  • The chat composer now shows the selected model effort beside the model name.

Fixes

  • Prompt queuing works correctly while an ACP agent is active. Drafts are preserved across tab changes and delivery failures, and prompts clear only after the agent accepts them.
  • Remote projects and conversations recover more reliably after sleep, network interruptions, and workspace-server reconnects. Transcript history reloads correctly, and connection status remains stable during recovery.
  • Terminal and TUI-agent sessions use readable, identity-backed tmux names and recover the correct process more reliably, including after idle periods.
  • Pull request status refreshes consistently, repositories are polled every minute, and requested or startup-failed CI checks are classified correctly.
  • External symlink targets can be browsed in the file tree, while diff buffers remain read-only and file references from agent transcripts open at the reported line.
  • SSH connections respect filtered agent identities, and macOS can request local-network access when connecting to machines over LAN SSH.
  • Project migrations handle legacy workspace identity conflicts without interrupting registry sync.
  • The in-app browser favicon, external-link dialog, task-tab cursor, collapsed plans, and prompt-editor links now behave consistently.
