📢 Improvements
-
Improved Configure > Authenticate Apple Account Sign-in > Apple Did Not Send Me a Code screen:
- Simplified the instructions for getting a code so they are much easier to understand and follow
- Added an Authentication Code field. You can now enter the code and send it to Apple on this screen
-
Added the Configure > Authenticate Apple Account Sign-in > Change Authentication Method screen:
- Text Message authentication would send the code request to Trusted Device #1. You can now select the Trusted Device to use for authentication from the list of Trusted Devices in your Apple Account.
-
Improved the Configure > Authenticate Apple Account Sign-in screen:
- Removed the Request Code using a Text Method Action
- Requesting an Authentication Code uses the Reauthentication Method selected on the Change Authentication Method screen. Default is a Push Notification.
Note: Apple changed the Push Notification Authentication Method to improve their security process. This has caused the normal Request an Authentication Code to not deliver one. I am working on finding a solution to this problem. Another program has found a solution but it is very complicated and will be difficult to implement.
