A game reinstalled by Steam gets its fix back when you press Play.
- A recipe that places a file beside a game (CS:GO Legacy's Direct3D 9 DLL) was recorded as applied once, so a fresh download of the same game launched without the file and on the wrong Direct3D, with the page still saying the fix was applied. Play now checks the files a recipe placed and applies it again when one is missing, and the page's Fix row says "Apply the fix now" until it is. Found on a cold reinstall of CS:GO Legacy on 0.9.6.
