A game's page says one thing about its graphics mode, the log is one click away, and the environment settings are three clicks from anywhere.
- The "when you press Play" list on a game whose environment has its own graphics mode used to name two modes: the environment's, then the database's as a note. It now says which wins in one line, and offers the database's mode for that game alone with one button.
- The verdict sentence keeps the frame rate and where it was read, as one sentence, instead of stitching "frames per second" onto a paragraph.
- Advanced on a game's page gets "Show the last launch log". Troubleshooting's "activity log" button is named for what it shows, the last background task.
- The environment variables and DLL overrides editors say which lines they ignore instead of dropping them silently.
- "Environment settings…" sits on the Environments tab, so engine, overrides, variables and dependencies are three clicks away instead of five.
- Recipes can give a game its own copy of a DLL from the engine, marked native, which is how CS:GO Legacy gets Wine's Direct3D 9 while the environment stays on DXMT and the Steam window keeps drawing. (#77)
highball run <env> Steam -- <arguments>reaches a Steam client that is already running; the arguments were dropped before. (#75)- Installing an engine component that names a directory no longer replaces the engine's whole
enginefolder with it. (#76) - The report the app opens after a session carries the Highball version, and the form on highball-db asks only for the game and a rating: one line is enough, the app fills the rest.
