Fixes for things a first-time user hits on the way to a working game.

  • Recipes now install the dependencies they declare. A game's fix recipe could say it needs .NET Framework 4.8 and nothing acted on it, so Assetto Corsa launched without .NET and died with "Configuration system failed to initialize". Required tweaks are applied before the game's own steps.
  • A launch parked on a Steam dialog is now reported instead of looking like a hang. Some publishers (Bandai Namco, Rockstar) make Steam show a licence agreement inside its own window before the first start. Until it is accepted the game process starts and sits there with clean logs. Highball now reads Steam's log, names the game, says what is waiting, and brings the Steam window forward. (#74)
  • Steam's stuck-first-start auto-restart works for the first time. Steam writes its logs with Windows line endings, and Swift treats that pair as a single character, so the whole log parsed as one line and the check never saw a timestamp. It has been silently disabled in every release until now. (#9)
  • Fresh compatibility data: 116 games, including this week's verifications on the shipping engine. Counter-Strike 2 (102-108 fps in a bot match), Warframe (82-94 fps), The Sims Legacy Collection (99 fps), Assetto Corsa (112 fps), Aperture Desk Job, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, GTA V Legacy, and NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4, which needs D3DMetal and now gets it automatically. Red Dead Redemption 2 is recorded as not working, with the exact MoltenVK failure, so nobody has to rediscover it.
