Join the beta: Switchboard is in closed testing on Google Play (email appsupport@garfiec.com to get access), and iOS is available as a public TestFlight beta.

Like the last release, this one addresses feedback from Play Store closed testing and TestFlight. It also reworks a lot of the app's UX ahead of a wider audience, closes many gaps with the LibreChat web app, and brings the app's API handling in line with the server across the board. There's still plenty to do.

  • Skills come into chat: turn skills on per chat, pick one with / or $, and see when a reply used one. The Skills screens are redesigned too
  • One share sheet everywhere, a redesigned Shared chats page, and shared chats open in the app, where you can continue them
  • Redesigned Agents, Projects, Memories and MCP servers pages, and you can start a new chat inside a project
  • Compare Models asks for the second model when it turns on, and side-by-side replies scroll together
  • New chats can start on your last-used model (Settings › Chat), and model specs can be starred as favourites
  • Temporary chat shows a banner while it's on

  • Fixed the iOS crash on launch in 2026.10.6
  • Model specs work on servers that enforce them, and show their names instead of model IDs
  • The agent list loads more than its first page, and Top picks, All and Duplicate work
  • Two-factor fixes: deleting an account asks for your code, viewing backup codes no longer replaces them, and 2FA can be turned off with a backup code
  • Voice input and read-aloud work on phones without Google services
  • "Open thinking by default" now opens thinking blocks
