• Myers Text Diff Engine: Implemented an in-memory diff engine (TextDiff.swift) providing fast, precise word-level and line-level delta computations.
• Visual Diff Inspection: Integrated inline and side-by-side diff views in ResultCardView, complete with color-coded additions and deletions, accessible indicator badges, and one-click replacement.
• Keyboard Navigation: Standardized keyboard interaction (Enter to apply changes, Escape to dismiss) with smooth transitions.

Popup Interface & Tooltips

• Screen-Space Overlay Panel: Moved action tooltips into an independent TooltipPanelController that tracks action buttons without edge-clipping against window bounds (#62).
• Adaptive Screen Placement: Implemented boundary-aware positioning (TooltipPlacement) that dynamically aligns tooltips above or below the floating bar based on visible screen margins.
• Direct Palette Shortcuts: Bound alphanumeric and numbered shortcuts directly to palette rows (PaletteRowShortcuts) for rapid-fire action execution.

• Descendant Process Termination: Upgraded ShellProcessRunner watchdog to traverse child process trees and send SIGKILL signals to all descendant processes upon timeout (#54 by @md786-dotcom, closing #35).
• Subtree Traversal Performance: Optimized descendant lookups by walking only the child subtree and isolated PID tracking to temporary directories.
• Developer Tooling: Enhanced dev_run.sh to immediately launch the freshly compiled binary from DerivedData (@Meldiron).

AI Integration & Security

• Prompt Injection Defense: Hardened the AIProvider system prompt with an explicit boundary instruction, ensuring language models treat input text strictly as data and ignore embedded instructions.
• Refined Presets: Polished default prompt templates for Proofread, Rewrite, Summarize, Explain, Translate, Fix Code, Make Shorter, and Formal Tone, with code and tone presets enabled by default.
• Multilingual Localization: Updated string catalogs across English, French, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Performance & Selection Stability

• Paste Probe Starvation Recovery: Bounded AX menu traversal with aggregate deadlines and freed paste-probe permits at the deadline to prevent hung or slow applications from starving paste operations (#37, #66 by @md786-dotcom).
• Zero Idle CPU: Eliminated animation timer wakeups during toast alert dismissals.
• Selection Permit Resilience: Resolved inspect-gate permit retention when an application intercepts or blocks an Edit ▸ Copy event (#36).
• Hermetic Test Suite: Refactored the test suite for complete isolation, eliminated shared state leakage, and removed obsolete legacy test suites.
