[3.2.3] - 2026-08-06
Added
Prefix + .renames the focused pane (next toPrefix + ,=
rename window). Also available asrename-pane [name](renamep)
in the command prompt and[bind]config; an empty name restores
the default "Pane N" title. Previously pane rename was only
reachable from the right-click context menu / title bar.
Fixed
- Right-clicking a pane title sometimes did not open the rename
dialog: when the app in the focused pane had mouse tracking on
(vim, htop, Claude Code, …), clicks on the pane border — including
the title row — were forwarded to the app instead of being handled
as wtmux chrome. Border clicks now always stay with wtmux, and
forwarded mouse coordinates are computed from the content area
inside the border (they were off by one cell on bordered panes).
Borderless panes (single pane, zoomed) no longer treat their top
content row as a clickable title. - Leftover dialog fragments after closing overlays: closing the
rename dialog (Esc/Enter), the pane-numbers overlay, or the context
menu via mouse did not force a full repaint, so panes with no new
output kept showing pieces of the dismissed overlay. All overlay
close paths now trigger a full redraw, matching the keyboard
context-menu and window-selector behavior.
