- Add initial native ultrawide (21:9) support (Issue #17): render targets follow the native display aspect ratio using Hor+ projection adjustments applied before derived matrices and view-frustum culling, keeping 16:9 safe-region HUD and ordered left/right pillarbox bars during video playback. The frame plan manages queue epoch tracking and render-target catalog roles. User note: Ultrawide support is EXPERIMENTAL, has known shadow mapping problems, and currently ONLY 3440×1440 is supported (2560×1080 is not currently advertised or supported despite appearing as an unverified UI option). windows-clangruntime build,LoFramePlanTest(18 checks),LoTargetMappingTest(5 checks), resolution (40 checks) and temporal math fixtures; in Vulkan testing with packed shaders, a native save loaded at 13.93s, captured two frames during scene transition at swaps 382–383, and verified 3440×1472 padded color/depth allocations with 3440×1440 resolve content. Comprehensive visual Hor+, HUD positioning, dynamic resize, shadow mapping repairs, failure injection, other backends, and user acceptance remain pending. - On Linux, the AppImage updater removes the exact temporary previous AppImage after the replacement reaches normal startup, while preserving it when replacement execution fails so rollback remains available. The focused WSL Manjaro Linux restart/rollback regression passed. Packaged AppImage, Fedora desktop and user acceptance remain pending.
