- Check for updates before importing game data on Windows and Linux. Up-to-date and offline checks continue normally; headless and background runs skip the automatic UI.
- When a newer release is available, an app-branded prompt shows its release notes with Install and Later actions. Keyboard and mouse input are supported, with controller input wired through the same prompt; accepting applies the update and relaunches before import. Download progress remains in the existing updater window.
- Windows runtime build, focused Windows/Linux prompt tests and changed Linux syntax checks pass. Live update acceptance, physical controller input and network downloading remain unverified.
