This release brings ffmpeg transcoding to MediaLyze!
validated plans with stream controls, hardware capability tests, reusable presets, flexible filename and folder formatting and linked variants that can be played side by side against the original for direct comparison. Alongside it, the interface gets denser and more consistent, with compact library navigation in the header and more compact settings tables. See the following release notes for a complete picture.

- Video transcoding — build validated FFmpeg plans with stream controls, tested hardware acceleration, explicit CPU-only mode, configurable output, and linked variants for comparison.
- Transcoding overview — queue files, track progress, cancel or retry jobs, and review completed work.
- Transcoding presets — save reusable stream settings for later use.
- Filename and folder formatting — configure each separately, rearrange or remove metadata tokens, include connector metadata, and save presets with language-code options.
- Synchronized video comparison — play two versions in sync and drag the divider across the image to compare them directly.

- Compact header navigation — group libraries under a hover and touch accessible Library icon, show page names after two seconds of icon hover, and show the MediaLyze icon instead of its name on phones.
- More compact Storage Map — remove redundant summary cards and subtitle, match the Transcoding page's icon heading, bring filters closer to the title, and keep the treemap evenly inset from the panel edges.
- Connector setup guidance — move the explanatory text into a tooltip beside the Connectors heading and match its Add connection button to Libraries.
- Compact history retention tables — tighten row spacing and shorten storage forecast headings.
- Hardware test progress — scale live progress to codec work and benchmark frame volume so longer parallel tests keep moving the Test Hardware indicator proportionally.

- Updated dependencies, including AnyIO 4.14.2 for security fixes, and strengthened desktop packaging safeguards.
🐛 Bug fixes
- remove stale, unassigned default profiles copied across media types at startup, while preserving profiles assigned to libraries.
