Breaking change

Gradle 7.3 or later is required. On older Gradle versions the plugin now fails with a clear message. If you are on Gradle < 7.3, keep using version 5.0.0.

The domain franzbecker.io no longer belongs to the maintainer and has reportedly been used to distribute malware. Do not use it. The only official sources are this repository and the Gradle Plugin Portal. Plugin ID and group are unchanged.
The plugin is built with Gradle 8.14.6 and JDK 17 and still published as Java 8 bytecode. CI and releases moved from Travis to GitHub Actions.
