Changes
- Fix highlight activation stopping at an old page hint while chapter pagination is incomplete (#227), using one bounded extension of the active paginator to verify the nearby recovery window.
- Restore verified shading when resuming a page whose saved anchor now points to an earlier page. Preserve the reading position and original bookmarks.bin; existing highlights do not need to be recreated.
- Keep recovery memory bounded, protect current-page ranges, and leave ambiguous or unverified text unshaded even when the recovery cache is full.
- Pass 28 first-opening and 28 direct-resume checks with the reporter's EPUB, font and original bookmark records, plus 14 synthetic simulator scenarios and 40 focused native tests. ESP32-C3 development and release builds pass the firmware budget gate. Physical X3/X4 validation remains pending.
