Changes
- Fix .37's update-check failure caused by insufficient RAM during HTTPS certificate signature verification on X4.
- Adapt CrossInk's fresh network boot to CPR-vCodex: Settings briefly shows Loading, then enters Update without retaining the Settings screen or SD reader fonts.
- Keep the fork's settings, languages, repository, manifest, C3 binary naming, certificate verification and SHA-256 validation.
- Reproduced the original failure and verified the corrected query, complete download, OTA installation and reboot on a USB-recoverable X4; the flashed image matches the public BIN. X3 hardware validation remains pending; see the stability audit.
- Devices whose installed OTA client cannot connect need this release through SD Card Firmware Update or a supported USB flash. Preserve settings and reading data. X4 Pro distribution remains withdrawn.
- Restore EPUB image grayscale with text anti-aliasing off (#215), without clearing existing caches or settings.
- Fix progressive JPEG decoding with separate component scans and chroma Huffman tables (Crosspoint crosspoint-reader#2925); retain existing memory guards.
- All 274 native tests pass, including five real-decoder JPEG cases. Simulator regressions cover image grayscale and existing caches. The development build booted twice and confirmed its OTA slot on X4; physical EPUB rendering and X3 validation remain pending.
