- Preserved the visible EPUB page when a background section build fails, preventing intermittent page turns from reverting to the chapter opening while the section is rebuilt (#168).
- Prevented long EPUB text nodes from exhausting contiguous heap during word-vector growth by flushing layout before the next allocation and using chunked anchor storage, adapted from CrossPoint Reader

b508f75e(#171). - Removed dynamic path allocations from atomic JSON persistence so large Reading Stats documents retain enough contiguous heap to save reliably (#173).
- Made the File Browser footer show the selected filename, preserving its distinguishing suffix when it exceeds the screen width (#174).
