This is an beta version that is still in development.

We have revised our slicer - and fixed a few bugs in the process.

Bug fixes

  • Raise3D Pro2 & Pro3 series (printable_area)

    The printable flat was set to the manufacturer's exact size.

  • Creality K1 & K1 Max (Auxilary fan does not start)

    The problem that the Aux fan of Creality K1 & K1 Max does not start has been fixed.

  • Creality K1 & K1 Max (Thumbnail size)

    Fixed the problem that the preview image of the Creality K1 & K1 Max was not displayed in the correct size.

  • Creality K1 & K1 Max (preview image is not displayed).

    The problem that the preview image of the Creality K1 & K1 Max was not displayed has been fixed.

  • Qidi X series gen3 (Thumbnail size)

    Fixed the problem that the preview image of the Qidi X series gen3 was not displayed in the correct size.

  • Qidi printers (Change filament gcode)

    The problem that changing the filament did not work has been fixed.

  • Snapmaker Artisan (Nozzle and heating board do not heat up)

    Fixed the problem that the Snapmaker Artisan did not heat up the Nozzle and the heating board.

  • Voxelab printers (Filament diameter)

    The filament diameter of the Voxelab printers was always displayed as 2.85mm, this has now been set to 1.75mm.

  • Tutorial-Link (404 error)

    The problem with the calibration tutorial link causing a 404 error has been fixed.

Improvements

  • Add "G92 E0" to layer_gcode

    The profiles have been adjusted so that the message regarding adding the G92 E0 command to the layer_gcode no longer appears.

  • Raise3D buildplate textures

    The buildplate textures of the Raise3D printers have been revised and now have guides for easy placement of the parts on the buildplate.

  • Using python post processor scripts

    The use of Python scripts as post processors has been simplified. More information about using postprocessors can be found at the following link: Python post processors

Changes

  • Introduction of the new profile system (V1.1)

    Profiles are now compatible with Profile Manager and now have a location for post-processors. This also makes it easier to manage the post-processors.

  • Introduction of the new GalaxyCube

  • Introduction of the new GalaxyFlower

  • Introduction of the new Printer selection

    The printer selector can now sort the printers by technology so you have a better overview of all printers.

  • Introduction of the new libraries area

    It is now possible to call different 3D model libraries directly from GalaxySlicer without changing the program.

Introduction of new functions

  • Python Support

    GalaxySlicer meets Python, Python support now makes it easy to run Python based post processors. Previously, Python had to be installed.

  • Profile Manager Support

    The new Profile Manager is now available for GalaxySlicer and brings with it new possibilities for managing profiles.

  • Ported from BambuStudio 1.7x

    The new added features of BambuStudio 1.7x have been integrated into GalaxySlicer.

  • Ported from OrcaSlicer 1.8x

    The new added features of OrcaSlicer 1.8x have been integrated into GalaxySlicer.
