• UDP support

  • Use udp://host:port in fortio load or the UI to do a UDP load test (#452)
  • Use udp://host:port in fortio nc for a netcat connection (#450)
  • Use the udp-echo server. By default on on same port as the tcp-echo server (8078) (#450)

• Timeout tweaks

  • new -udp-timeout defaulting to much shorter 750ms
  • Default http/tcp timeout changed to 3s (from 15s)
  • Timeout field now in the web UI and changeable, also defaults to 750ms

• Build/version simplification

  • Automatically use the version from the git tag

same as 1.14.0 with a bug fix for the UI for http load tests with empty timeout (to use the 3s default instead of 0)
