Fluent v1.0.0 — Mainnet Release
Fluent v1.0.0 marks the first production release of the Fluent network and the launch of its mainnet. This release introduces the initial implementation of Fluent’s Blended Execution architecture, enabling high-performance, Ethereum-compatible smart contract execution through a unified runtime model.
Fluent combines multiple virtual machine paradigms into a single execution environment designed for performance, determinism, and future zero-knowledge compatibility. The system integrates EVM compatibility, rWasm-based execution, and a modular runtime architecture to support scalable smart contract execution without sacrificing developer familiarity.

Blended Execution Architecture
Fluent introduces a unified execution model that combines EVM compatibility with a high-performance WebAssembly-based runtime (rWasm). This approach enables native support for existing Ethereum smart contracts while allowing contracts compiled to rWasm to execute with significantly improved performance and determinism.
Ethereum Compatibility
The network supports Ethereum transaction formats, tooling, and contract standards, enabling developers to deploy existing Solidity contracts with minimal or no modification.
High-Performance Runtime
The Fluent runtime is designed for efficient execution with optimized memory management, deterministic execution traces, and reduced overhead compared to traditional EVM implementations.
Deterministic Execution Model
Fluent’s execution environment is built to guarantee deterministic behavior across nodes, ensuring consensus safety and enabling future cryptographic verification layers.
Modular Execution Engine
The architecture separates execution, state transition logic, and runtime environments, enabling future extensions such as additional VM support and advanced execution environments.
