Hell's Gate Recomp — v0.8.3-beta-hotfix

Fixes

Launcher closing when changing settings or pressing Play: with the default install folder (C:\Program Files\Dante's Inferno), the launcher could not save its settings there and closed without any message. The game also could not write its logs there. The installer now gives your user account write access to the install folder.
Launcher errors are shown instead of closing silently. If something goes wrong, you get a message, and the details are saved to %LOCALAPPDATA%\DantesInferno\launcher_error.log.

The game itself is unchanged from v0.8.3-beta.

Run this installer over your existing install (the launcher's update button does this). It fixes the folder permissions of the existing install. Your saves and settings are kept.
If you can't update right away: run the launcher as administrator, or install the game outside Program Files.
