This release marks Station Desktop's switch to an Ethereum compatible wallet. This is one important milestone towards payouts 🥳 as it greatly improves compatibility with FEVM smart contracts. Soon, the SPARK impact evaluator - built with the Meridian Framework - is going to start sending funds for work done.
Important: If you had funds in the previous wallet (by sending them there yourself), these funds are not lost! Please use a Station Desktop version prior to this one (close Station Desktop and then run the previous version) to send funds back to where you can safely store them. If you wish, you can then run the new version of Station Desktop (which has a new wallet address) and send the funds there again.
